President, commercial division
Mr. Taulbee is the President of the Commercial Division for SVN CompassRock Real Estate, a service provider that focuses on property management, construction management, leasing and other services for retail, commercial and multifamily properties, in major, secondary, and tertiary markets where assignments from CMBS special servicers often occur.
Prior to joining SVN CompassRock, Mr. Taulbee was Senior Vice President of Asset Management at Corporex, a privately held investment company with diverse real estate holdings throughout the United States. Corporex has developed and managed hotels, office, industrial, residential, and retail assets and currently controls more than $1 billion in real estate investments in 30 major markets across the United States.
Mr. Taulbee was previously the Vice President of Management for Simon Property Group, a global leader in retail real estate ownership, management, and development. As VP, Mr. Taulbee was responsible for the overall management of shopping malls throughout the United States. This included marketing, leasing, and operations that generated billions in annual retail sales and provided a first-class shopping experience for millions of consumers each day. In addition to the management responsibilities, Mr. Taulbee oversaw the management for all new mall openings and acquisitions.
Mr. Taulbee has over 25 years of real estate experience including hotel, office, industrial and 20 years in the shopping center industry. He maintains a Real Estate License and is a standing member of International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and Building Owners and Management Associations (BOMA). He has had success in all aspects of management, development, and leasing for commercial and retail assets. Mr. Taulbee has managed more than 100 shopping centers throughout the United States including regional, life style, outlets, mixed use, and community centers. Throughout his career, Mr. Taulbee has chaired many executive boards, chambers and committees in multiple communities.
